WordPress is a very versatile CMS with lots of features, but it’s also very user friendly.
Most WordPress content is in the form of posts which are presented chronologically by default, and can be further organized into categories. A WordPress site can also have static pages which are like posts, but are not part of the timeline of posts.
Content management in WordPress consists mainly of adding and editing posts or pages. We’ve selected an introductory set of videos from WordPress.tv to get you through most of the essential aspects of posting content on your WordPress site.
There are over 750 million active Facebook users worldwide, at this point Facebook’s dominance of the social media sphere is undisputed, and cannot be ignored. While a Facebook business page is no substitute for a website, it is still an essential piece of any online campaign, and your customers will expect you to have one. Luckily, it isn’t difficult at all to setup a Facebook business page, even for a social media novice.
Follow these steps to create a Facebook page for your business
- Log into your Facebook account, then click “Create Page” in the upper right hand corner.
- Select a category for your business from the following options: Local Business or Place/ Company, Organization or Institution/ Brand or Product/ Artist, Band or Public Figure / Entertainment/ Cause or Community.
- After you’ve selected a category for your business, a form will appear. Fill in the name, address and phone number of your business and ‘agree’ to Facebook Pages Terms. Then click “Get Started.”

Managing all your Twitter friends can be a real chore, if you let it get out of hand.
One great way of keeping track of things on Twitter is by organizing your friends by category and placing them into lists. Perhaps it’s best to think of a list as a ‘grouping’ or ‘group.’
The great thing about lists is that you don’t have to follow someone to put them in a list. This means you can keep track of all the people too prolific, or too specific, for your home feed.
To create a twitter list just open the drop-box on the right sidebar, and click “create new list.” Give the lists a name and select if the list will be public or private.
